Itasca, IL - Ellis Corporation features a high production "Quick Turnaround Loading Chute" for its Open Pocket Washer/Extractor. This loading chute, or Door Hopper, is designed to facilitate fast, automatic loading. The 11' 5" sq. ft. Hopper opening can be tilted to allow for large quantities to be loaded more easily and more quickly for faster processing and turnaround time.
The Door Hopper loading chute is twice the size of others in the market. In addition, the Open Pocket's large 127 cubic foot basket gives 10% more production per load. Easy loading also is facilitated by a full 25 degree tilt of the unit.
Other features of the Ellis Washer/Extractor include: a Single-Motor Hydrostatic Drive, which easily controls washer speeds through extract and reversals; a Two-Way Hydraulic tilt, which gives a greater range of motion, allowing gravity assistance in the loading and unloading functions; an easy-to-operate Ellis Intellitrol Network Ready Control, which programs wash speeds, extract speeds and cylinder reversals.
