CENTRIFUGAL EXTRACTION - THE ENERGY SAVER
The Ellis Economizer is a highly efficient, 60" diameter centrifugal extractor. It is so effective at removing moisture that many laundries completely eliminate conditioning on polyester and cotton blends, shorten conditioning times on other materials, and significantly reduce drying times.
The result is reduced operating costs, allowing an early payback on your equipment investment. The economizer generates other savings, too. MOISTURE REMOVAL EFFICIENCY - Tested and Proven in Laundries
The Ellis Economizer has demonstrated its cost effectiveness in actual operating conditions. It consistently removes moisture content in blends down to 25% to 30% - the level at which most laundries can eliminate conditioning and send material direct to ironing.
Savings are easily calculated by considering the pounds of linen processed and the local cost of fuel. In every case, savings are significant, amounting to several thousand dollars per year.
HIGH G FORCE - THE ELLIS EDGE
The Economizer's superiority is due to the tremendously high G forces (G = the pull of gravity) that the extractor produces. Operating at normal speeds of 750 RPM, the Economizer generates approximately 480 G's of centrifugal force. The nearest competitive washer-extractor produces only 315-320 G's. At nearly twice the G force, the Economizer offers better moisture removal, and all the accompanying benefits.

CENTER DRIVE FOR SMOOTH, QUIET OPERATION
The large 6" basket is driven by a heavy-duty hydraulic motor, center mounted for maximum stability and virtually vibration-free operation. Stability is enhanced by a suspension system that centers the extractor assembly inside a strong equally-spaced 3-pylon support system. Hydraulic stabilizers minimize shake and vibration. And, should a large off-balance load be put into the basket, a safety switch quickly shuts down the machine to allow load redistribution.
DOUBLE COVER FOR EXTRA SAFETY
The Ellis Extractor features two covers joined by a universal joint assembly. The rotating inner cover mates with the basket rim, while the outer cover is clamped to the casing.
